Incoterms® Rules and Trade Terms

 

“Incoterms” is a trademark of the International Chamber of Commerce.  Incoterms® rules and trade terms are recognized and accepted as the standard for international trading and are regularly updated as commercial conditions change.  Terms were last amended in 2010.

DDP – Delivered Duty Paid: [DTP – Duty and Tax Paid]

Seller or Exporter is responsible for delivering the goods to the named place in the country of the buyer, and pays all costs in bringing the goods to the destination, this cost included import duties and taxes.

 

DDU – Delivered Duty Unpaid [DTU – Duty and Tax Unpaid]

The Seller or Exporter is responsible for delivering the consignment to the name place in the country of the buyer OR

The buyer or the importer is responsible for Duty and Tax at the destination
